The Shaolin are returning. The Shaolin will be resident at Monart from September to December 2012.
The Shaolin will travel to Monart from a Shaolin Temple located in Henan Province, China.
They have trained all their lives to be Shaolin Masters. The Shaolin are famous for teaching Martial Arts, Meditation, Buddhism as a way of life, improving health and wellbeing and concentrating on finding balance in life.
This is an amazing opportunity to visit Monart and see one of the worlds oldest cultures in action and to learn the great skills of life which Master Zheng can teach. Learn how to Mediate, Tai-Chi, the ancient art of Qi-gong, Kun Fu and enjoy an informative 2,000 year old traditional Saholin Warrior massage

Qi-Gong

Exercise: Eight separate movements (These are slow and relaxed)
Benefits: Learn the eight ancient exercises of the Shaolin which promotes health
and longevity. These eight movements will remain with you forever and you can
use thes as part of your daily regime to increase your energy and the Shaolin
believe these exercises can help keep your vital organs healthy. Qi – means life
force and gong means practice. Learn through practice to unlock your life-force.
Using Qi-gong will also gently tone your muscles
T'ai Chi
Suitable for: Everyone (follow the master as best you can and enjoy this unique
life experience)
Exercise: Slow movements and transitions from differing positions ranging from
easy to challenging.

internal and external strength – Improve balance – improve circulation –
Harmonise body and mind
Massage: This massage was designed by the Shaolin to keep the muscles and
body healthy, find areas of weakness, and to ensure the warriors could continue
fighting throughout China hundreds of years ago. This massage is very good for
stress relief, muscle tension relief and can be very informative.
Benefits: Keep the body supple, find areas of weakness and give exercises to help
improve health.
Kung Fu:
Suitable For: people who are very athletic and have some knowledge of
martial arts
Exercise: Learn the powerful movements of Kung Fu from a Shaolin Master
